RTA to write-off vehicles with 2 years lapsed registration

For motorists who have not registered their vehicles for two years, RTA will start writing these off. To maintain safety of road users in Dubai, the government wants to make certain that the vehicles on the road are fully checked-up and does not pose a danger to the driver, passengers, goods on board and other road users. In order to register a vehicle, it must pass the Al Shamil Vehicle Test.
